Like all spring sports in northern Indiana, the Bethel College men's tennis team was forced to deal with an unusually cold spring season. In fact, the Pilots were only able to play three of their five matches scheduled for the spring.

Luke Prude, from Paducah, Kentucky, has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and tennis career at Bethel College in the fall of 2013 where he plans to major in Business Administration. Luke will be graduating from Upward Call Christian School in Paducah on May 25th. Luke's tennis background is very impressive as he has played four years in USTA Jr. Team Tennis (JTT). In 2011 and 2012, his JTT team qualified for the Kentucky State JTT tournament. Luke's record in JTT competition the past two seasons was 18-2. In addition, Luke was ranked in the top 25% in the USTA Boys 18 Southern Section, the largest section in the nation with over 1750 players.

Men's Tennis - Wed, Apr. 24, 2013

Nick Kindig, a senior at Tippecanoe Valley High School, has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and tennis career at Bethel College in the fall of 2013 where he will major in Elementary Education. Nick played number one singles for the Vikings for three seasons and finished with a career record of 40-18 at that position. In addition, Nick was a Three Rivers Conference champion and was a three year selection for All-Conference honors.
