Joel Hartman of Elkhart Christian Academy has decided to continue his academic and athletic endeavors at Bethel College.  He has been a vital part of the Elkhart Christian campus using his gifts in music, academics and athletics. 

Andres Herbert from local South Bend Washington High School has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic pursuits with Bethel College.  Andy has only been a part of Washington's cross country and track programs for two years, yet has made tremendous strides as a runner.  In cross country he has made the all-city team, all conference team, and qualified as an individual for regionals in cross country.  He was the first runner from Washington to qualify for regionals in many years.  The last to do it was actually his uncle.  Andy's personal best times are 16:56 (cc 5k), 10:02 (3200m), and 4:32 (1600m).

Local distance running star from Mishawaka High School, Jordan Annis, has signed a letter of intent to continue his career at Bethel College.  He will be part of both the cross country and track teams.

Ask anyone on the Bethel College cross country or track teams about junior teammate Maggie Dade, and they'll likely give the same answer: "She's the sweetest girl." But very few people are aware of the strength and bravery behind that sweet, selfless smile.
