With hopes of climbing in the Crossroads League standings before tournament play, the Bethel baseball team traveled to Indianapolis on Saturday to take on Marian University for the final day of regular season play for 2013. Bethel left Marian with a split on the day which not only earned them a spot in the League Tournament, but also boosted them above Marian in the standing.

Baseball took the field on Thursday to start the final League series for the regular season against Marian University out of Indianapolis. It was Senior Day at Richard C. Patterson Field and the Pilot program paid tribute to seven Seniors who will leave the program at season's end. These players are Drew Eads, Cory Stoner, Evan Pulliam, Jerrod Long, Michael Vanderlaan, Colin Ullery, and Clint Nealeigh. The Pilots would walk away from the field on this day earning a split with Marian.
