It was an exciting night of baseball between the Pilots and Knights of Marian University on Friday. Even with 14 innings scheduled in the doubleheader between the squads, the fans in attendance got more than expected when the first game on the docket went into extra innings. BC cut the extended ballgame short, winning the contest in the eighth inning 11-8. However, the good fortune did not spill over into game two as MU ran away with the nightcap 9-4. BC moves to 11-21 on the season and 7-13 in Crossroads League play while Marian now sits at 11-14 overall and 10-10 in league action.
