The Bethel College Track and Field program will have 14 athletes competing at NAIA Outdoor Nationals on Thursday, May 23- Saturday, May 25 at Indiana Wesleyan University.  The Pilots will have three men and eleven women competing at the Championships.

Each season, at the completion of the NCCAA Track and Field season, the NCCAA honors one male and one female student-athlete with the Wheeler Award. The Wheeler Award is sponsored by John and Jody Wheeler who have been involved in athletic activities of Christian Colleges for many years and John has served over 20 years on the NCCAA Board of Directors.  The award goes to a junior or senior, with high academic standing, and exemplifies the NCCAA standard for excellence in athletics as well as Christian Character both on and off the track. This year's winner is BC senior, Trisha Nelson 

The Bethel College Track program participated in the Aquinas Twilight Meet in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday and three Lady Pilots were successful in hitting NAIA standards.

Eleven women and three men from the Bethel College track and field team have been named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes upon completion of the NCCAA Outdoor National Track Meet.
