Bethel College will be hosting over 100 high school boys basketball teams from all over Indiana and Michigan this summer at their annual Bethel College Shootout. The first team camp will take place on Friday, June 7 beginning at 12:00pm. Admission to the event is $5 with concessions available throughout the event.

Bethel College will also be hosting the event on June 14 and 15 as well as June 21 and 22.

2009 Bethel College graduate William Walker has signed a professional contract to play basketball in Australia this summer.  The former Pilot has agreed to terms with the Frankston Blues who had been courting Walker during his successful season in Sweden where he averaged 15.9 points per game.

Mishawaka, Ind. – Bethel College men's basketball coach Mike Lightfoot announced that Mishawaka High School's Chris Mitchell will sign a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Bethel College.

Atlanta, Georgia - The Athletes in Action Coaches Forum: Called to Coach was held at the NCAA men's basketball Final Four this year and featured Bethel College head coach Mike Lightfoot. Lightfoot was on a panel of coaches and celebrities that featured TNT and CBS analyst Ernie Johnson, former Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett, ESPN basketball analysts Chris Broussard and Christian rap artist LeCrae.
