Bethel softball's record falls to 2-38 after the squad dropped a pair of road contests to Taylor University 7-1 and 2-1. The TU Trojans pull their record above the .500 plateau with their pair of wins and now sit at 24-22.

It was an extremely successful road trip for the Cougars of Mount Vernon as they made their way to Mishawaka for a tripleheader against the Bethel softball team on Saturday. Not only was MVNU successful in picking up a pair of wins over BC in the regularly-scheduled doubleheader, but they also picked up a decisive 15-0 win in the conclusion of a contest that started back on April 6th in Ohio that was suspended due to weather. With scores of 3-0 and 11-1 in the 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. games, the Pilots drop to 2-36 on the season and 2-28 in league play.

It was another tough day at the ballpark as a pair of games were surrendered by the Bethel softball squad. Hosting the league's top team, NAIA No. 17 Marian, the Pilots fell 9-2 and 8-0 to move to 2-33 on the season and 2-25 in Crossroads League play.

Bethel hung tough with IWU, who is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll, during the first six innings of action, but the final six innings of play did not go the Pilots way
