The Bethel College track & field team owes a lot to senior Calen Boyd. Year after year, he has consistently qualified for indoor and outdoor NCCAA and NAIA nationals in sprints and jumps. Boyd lettered in football, basketball and soccer while at Lansing Eastern High School, but it was in track that he earned All-State standings and found his niche.

The Bethel College Track and Field program has signed a pair of outstanding athletes for the 2012-2013 incoming recruiting class.

The Bethel College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the NCCAA Outdoor National Tournament from Joliet, Ill. this weekend and came away with two National Champions and seven All-Americans.
Samantha Etter won the National Championship and earned All-American honors in the 400 meter hurdles with a mark of 103.59 while Robert Rose earned a National Championship and became an All-American in the discus with a throw of 169-1.
