The 2011 Bethel College men's tennis team concluded their 2011 fall season by finishing with an overall record of 4-9, and placing eighth in the MCC. The season began with a 9-0 win over Calumet College before the Pilots dropped a pair of tough conference matches. The team then registered a 9-0 victory over MCC foe, the University of St. Francis Cougars. Following another pair of losses, the Pilots defeated Cornerstone University by the score of 7-2. The following day, the team played perhaps their best tennis of the season against MCC rival, Goshen College. Despite playing excellent tennis, the Pilots dropped a hard-fought 5-4 decision to the Maple Leafs. The next three matches were tough losses, including a loss to undefeated and conference champion Spring Arbor University in the opening round of the MCC Tournament. In the regular season MCC finale, the Bethel College men's and women's tennis teams hosted the Grace College Lancers on Saturday at Baker Park in Mishawaka. The Bethel men fell by the score of 9-0 to drop their season mark to 3-8 (1-7 MCC). However, the Lady Pilots prevailed by the score of 5-4 to improve to 8-4 on the season (4-4 MCC).

The men's match began with singles where the visiting Lancers swept all six positions despite several highly competitive sets from the Pilots. Grace closed out the contest by taking all three doubles matches to finish the day's action.

On the women's side, play began with doubles where the Lady Pilots claimed victories in two of the three matches. Winning at number one was the tandem of Molly O'Grady and Whitney Neuenschwander by the score of 8-4. And coming up with a big win at number three were Bethany Blodgett and Taylor Atkins by the score of 8-3. In singles action, the Lady Pilots registered dominating victories at the numbers one and six positions from O'Grady and Taryn Johnson respectively to take a commanding 4-1 lead in the team score. However, Grace responded by winning at numbers three, four and five to knot the team score at four apiece. That left number two singles to decide the contest where Bethel's Whitney Neuenschwander took the first set, but dropped the second. In the third and deciding set, Whitney trailed 3-2 before rallying to knot the set at 4-4. From that point, Neuenschwander closed out the match by winning the final two games to give the Lady Pilots a huge victory.
