The NAIA has announced that 165 men's golf student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Among the 165 recipients was Bethel senior Brian Ulrich. This marks the second season Ulrich lands on the list that requires the student-athlete to keep a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have achieved junior status.
Bethel men's golf finished the 2014-15 season with a fourth-place finish at the 2015 Crossroads League Championship. After sitting in a three-way tie after the first 36 holes of play, Bethel carded a 310 in the third and final round to fall behind Marian, Mount Vernon and Indiana Wesleyan.
After day one at the Crossroads League Championship, the Bethel men's golf team sits in a three-way tie for first place with Marian and Indiana Wesleyan. The three teams finished the day with identical team scores of 596 and hold just a one-stroke lead over Mount Vernon, who sits in fourth place.
Due to rainy conditions, the Huntington University Men's Golf Invitational canceled their final round of play, giving the Pilots a fourth-place finish as a result of their first round of action.
