Heading into the first match of the season, the men's and women's golf teams are sitting on opposite ends of the spectrum. While the BC ladies return all five players that were in action last spring for the Pilots, the men said goodbye to four of their top five players from a season ago.

The NAIA has announced that 165 men's golf student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Among the 165 recipients was Bethel senior Brian Ulrich. This marks the second season Ulrich lands on the list that requires the student-athlete to keep a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have achieved junior status.

Bethel men's golf finished the 2014-15 season with a fourth-place finish at the 2015 Crossroads League Championship. After sitting in a three-way tie after the first 36 holes of play, Bethel carded a 310 in the third and final round to fall behind Marian, Mount Vernon and Indiana Wesleyan.

After day one at the Crossroads League Championship, the Bethel men's golf team sits in a three-way tie for first place with Marian and Indiana Wesleyan. The three teams finished the day with identical team scores of 596 and hold just a one-stroke lead over Mount Vernon, who sits in fourth place.
