The Bethel College women's tennis team, like all other spring sports at Bethel this year, was forced to deal with poor weather conditions throughout the month of April. In fact, the team was only able to practice outdoors twice the entire month. Still, attitudes were positive and the ladies worked hard whenever indoor courts were available.

The Bethel College men's and women's tennis teams have earned several national awards as announced at the NCCAA National Tennis Tournament in Mobile, Alabama. 

The Bethel College women's tennis team traveled to Bourbonnais, IL on Saturday afternoon to battle the Olivet Nazarene University Lady Tigers in the NCCAA North Central Regional Championship match. The Lady Pilots, ranked #9 in the latest NCCAA women's tennis poll, dropped the match to ONU (#14 NAIA / #7 NCCAA) by the score of 9-0. The loss leaves the Lady Pilots with a record of 12-7 for the season. 

The Bethel College men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Cedarville, Ohio on Friday for a match with Cedarville University. Both squads battled hard – against both an impressive opponent, and against the inclement weather conditions of a very cold and windy day. In the end, it was Cedarville's men winning over the Pilots 9-0 while the Lady Pilots dropped a tough 5-4 decision to the home team. The results left the Bethel men with a season record of 3-14 and the Lady Pilots with a mark of 12-6.
