Bethel softball returned to action on Friday afternoon, hosting the Taylor University Trojans in the final home game of the 2015 season. The Trojans, who are currently receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll, outpowered the Pilots in game one 7-2 and finished the sweep by defeating BC  8-4 in game two. The Pilots move to 14-28 on the season and 10-24 in the Crossroads League with just two games remaining in regular-season action. Bethel continues to cling to the eighth place in league standings, which is right where they need to be to sneak into the eight-team postseason tournament.

Bethel softball returned to action on Tuesday afternoon as they hosted the Cougars of Saint Francis in a doubleheader at Baker Field in Mishawaka. The Pilots, who swept the Cougars in the first meeting between the two squads, lost in a heartbreaker in the opener by a score of 3-7 in eight innings and dropped game two 2-13 in five innings of play. The Pilots move to 14-26 on the season and 10-22 in Crossroads League play as they cling to the eighth spot in league standings, hoping to earn a spot in the postseason tournament scheduled for April 29th through May 1st.

The Bethel Pilots softball team snapped a four-game losing streak in fashion by defeating Goshen College in a back-and-forth battle in game two of Saturday's doubleheader.  After offensive woes led to a 1-10 loss in the opener, Bethel's bats woke up to help the Pilots earn a 9-8 victory over the Maple Leafs in game two of the twinbill. With the 1-1 result, BC jumps back into eighth place in league standings with a 10-20 league record. Overall, the Pilots land a 14-24 overall record with eight games remaining in the regular season.

The Bethel softball team dropped a pair of contests to the Foresters of Huntington University on Friday afternoon, falling 0-3 in 10 innings of play in game one and then 1-5 in game two. The losses are the third and fourth on the season suffered at the hands of the Foresters.  The two negative results move the Pilots' season record to 13-23 overall and 9-19 in Crossroads League action.
