After a tough October and November, the Lady Pilots have tallied five wins in their last 11 contests, and behind their steady improvement has been the play of Savannah Bley. Over the steady incline in the team’s performance dating back to the beginning of December, the 6’1” senior has averaged 15 points and 10.3 rebounds a game. Those stats are accompanied by a 65.7 percent field-goal percentage and a grand total of six double-doubles in a 10-game span. One of her most notable performances came in BC’s first league win on the road at Mount Vernon when Bley poured in a career-high 26 points while connecting on 12-of-14 attempts (85.7 percent). As the regular season winds down, Bley is also within reach of becoming the 19th member of the 500 rebound club and the first new member since Georgia Boisse (’13).
