The Bethel College softball team had its season come to a close Tuesday night when they fell to Olivet Nazarene University in the NAIA National Tournament 7-2. 

This week, sophomore pitcher Natalie Newelll was named to the NCCAA Division I All-American 1st Team, announced by the NCCAA national office. As a sophomore, the Goshen High School product has already established herself as one of the best pitchers in the history of the Pilot Softball program.

The Bethel College softball team fell to top-seeded Lee University 3-1 in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament in Cleveland, Tennessee.
