Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Bethel men's golf team took part in the USF Invitational and brought home a seventh-place finish in their fourth event of the season.
The Pilots posted scores of 345-330 in the two rounds to finish with a team score of 675. Four Pilots finished within one shot of each other as Max Vos led the way with an 86-82 to finish at 168 (+24). Luke Hillegonds (FR/Dyer, Ind.), Nick Myers (JR/Nappanee, Ind.), and Roman Ojala (SO/New Ipswich, NH) all finished with identical 169 (+25) scores on the weekend. Zach Higgins (JR/Mendon, Mich.) carded a 185 for the Pilots.
The Pilots finish their fall schedule with the Egypt Valley Intercollegiate in Forrest Hills, Michigan, at the Egypt Valley Golf Club next Friday and Saturday, October 13-14.
The Bethel College Pilots compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
