Granger, Ind. - The Bethel men's tennis team dropped their rivalry match with Grace on Tuesday afternoon 7-2 at the Knollwood Country Club in Granger. The Pilots fall to 4-8 overall and 2-7 in the Crossroads League during the fall season.
Chad VanDosen (SR/Sturgis, Mich.) picked up his second win of the fall with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at six singles, while Sidney Petersen (JR/Decatur, Ind.) secured a tough 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory at three singles for his 4th win of the season.
"Our men played very well today against a strong team from Grace," said Director of Tennis John Natali. "While the final score read 2-7, our guys were actually just a few points away from challenging for a 5-4 victory."
The Pilots return to action for their final regular season match of the fall season on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Concordia (Mich.) to Knollwood Country Club in Granger for a 12:00 pm start.
