Granger, Ind. - The Bethel women's tennis team fell to Grace on Tuesday afternoon 7-2 at the Knollwood Country Club in Granger. The Pilots fall to 6-7 overall and 2-7 in the Crossroads League on the season.
Caroline Boger (JR/LaPorte, Ind.) notched her tenth win of the fall at two singles, against only two losses, with a 6-4, 6-0 win over her Grace counterpart. Stephanie Cressman (SO/Sturgis, Mich.) also earned a victory for the Pilots at six singles with an impressive 6-1, 6-2 win.
"Our ladies fell behind early as a result of dropping all three doubles matches," said Director of Tennis John Natali. "But in singles, Stephanie earned a win for us while Caroline earned her tenth win of the season at the number two position."
The Pilots return to action for their final regular season match of the fall season on Friday afternoon when they welcome Concordia (Mich.) to Knollwood Country Club in Granger.
