The Bethel women's tennis team closed out the 2017 spring season on Wednesday, falling to the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist 6-0. The sixth-seeded Pilots bow out of the 2017 NCCAA National Championship Tournament with a 0-3 record in pool play and an overall season record of 13-10.
Against the second-seeded Bison, Bethel dropped all three doubles matches 8-0 before heading into singles play. Oklahoma Baptist continued their dominance in singles play by picking up quick wins in the number two, three and five slots to seal the 6-0 victory. In the number five singles slot, Chase Kieper was the lone Pilot to claim more than one set during any of the completed matches.
