"The high level of competition that our men have been facing all season really paid off for us today," stated Bethel coach, John Natali. "Manchester has definitely improved substantially from last year, but our men were ready to step up and get the job done today. Trent and Luke played some awesome doubles at number two for us, and everyone played solid singles as well. The match clincher came at number two where Trent won an epic battle in three sets for us."
"Our ladies also played very well for us all the way down the line-up. Molly and Bethany were very solid at numbers one and two singles, as well as at number one doubles. The same can be said for Stephani and Melissa at numbers three and four singles, as well as at number two doubles. And Samantha and Taryn got the job done for us at numbers five and six singles, and at number three doubles. "
The Bethel men and women will return to the courts on Wednesday, September 25th when they will host Goshen College in a Crossroads League match-up. The match will begin at 1:00pm at Baker Park in Mishawaka.
