Women's Tennis - Thu, Mar. 7, 2013

The Bethel College Lady Pilots tennis team has been ranked sixth in the 2012-13 NCCAA women's tennis preseason ranking of top 10 teams in the NCCAA across the country.  Due to the fact that collegiate tennis is considered a spring sport nationally, the poll released on March 6th is officially a preseason poll.

However, the Lady Pilots play the majority of their season in the fall and registered an outstanding 11-4 record in the fall of 2012. The Lady Pilots finished third in the Crossroads League, and all four of their losses were to teams ranked in the NAIA top 20.

"We are very honored and humbled to be considered one of the top ten women's tennis teams in the NCCAA nationally," stated Bethel coach, John Natali. "There are so many outstanding teams within the NCCAA and for us to be listed among the top ten is quite an achievement for our ladies."

The Lady Pilots will kick-off their 2013 spring season on Saturday, April 6th when they will host Indiana Tech at 12:30pm on the Bethel courts.
