Ethan Turner, a 2011 graduate of South Bend Washington High School, has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and tennis career at Bethel College in the fall of 2012. Ethan played four years of varsity tennis for the Panthers at the number one singles position, and earned 2nd team all-conference honors as a sophomore. In his junior and senior seasons, Ethan also earned NIC honorable mention status. In addition, Ethan was voted his team's Most Valuable Player in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Academically, Ethan is a member of National Honor Society and achieved honor roll recognition all four years at Washington High.

"We are very excited to have Ethan join our tennis program," stated Bethel coach, John Natali. "Ethan enjoyed a very successful high school career at Washington and will be a big contributor to our success here at Bethel. Ethan is a very hard worker, both on the tennis court and in the classroom, and will be a great addition to Bethel tennis."
