The Bethel College men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Upland, Ind. on Wednesday and fell to the Trojans of Taylor University by scores of 8-1 on the men's side and 5-4 on the women's side.

The men's team got their lone win at No. 2 doubles as the team of Nathan Baker and Alex Tsikouris won by the score of 8-6.

The women took two of three doubles contests, first at No. 1 as the team of Molly O'Grady and Whitney Neuenschwander won 8-5 and then the team of Jill Focht and Morgan McFarren won at No. 2 doubles by the score of 8-2.

Neuenschwander also took home the victory at No. 2 singles by scores of 6-1, 6-3 while Bethany Blodgett won at No. 3 singles by the score of 7-6, 6-3.

The men now sit at 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the MCC while the women are 4-3 overall and 2-3 in the MCC.  Both teams host Cornerstone University on Friday starting with the men at 2:30 pm on campus.
